It is the fourth and final film in the Pom Pom film series which is a spin-off the Lucky Stars series.<br/><br/>Police CID Detectives Ah Chau (Richard) and Beethoven (John) are close friend who must protect a witness May (羅美薇 May Lo Mei-wei) after she witnesses a gangland murder. Meanwhile Beethoven mistakenly discovers that Chow is dying of cancer and sets out to make his last few months memorable.

The police are well aware that Mr Sha (陳龍 Chan Lung) is the boss of the crime syndicate smuggling and trafficking in drugs, and that he keeps details of his criminal transactions in a book which is kept by his mistress.<br/><br/>When Ah Chau and Beethoven investigate, they find Sha's mistress dead, and inadvertently compromise all fingerprint evidence in the hideout. Luckily, they are assisted by beautiful lady police Inspector Anna (葉德嫻 Deannie Yip Tak-han), who is secretly attracted to Ah Chau. Finally the two make their arrests and become instant heroes.")
