He pulled the short delivery behind square and clobbered one more in the same over,<br/><br/>Dhoni came in at number eight when CSK needed 72 runs off 23 balls. Dhoni pulled the first ball he faced for a four behind square off Mukesh Kumar. He was dropped on the second ball at backward point. He finished the 17th over with another four, driven past the cover.<br/><br/>Off his fifth ball, Dhoni played a lofted cover drive, powered over the boundary for his first six of IPL 2024.<br/><br/>With 41 runs needed off the last over, Dhoni hammered the first ball by Anrich Nortje for four through covers. On the next ball, Dhoni punished the low full toss and hammered it over long off for a six. He then hit Nortje’s fourth ball for another boundary, over mid on. He finished the over with a six over covers.<br/><br/>
