Dessereau is an illustrator who contributes regularly to The New Yorker and The New York Times, and director Spike Lee is a fan as well. In spring 2023, Dessereau created a cover and cartoon for the Fashion Institute of Technology's magazine, Hue. See the final project on the Hue website at hue.fitnyc.edu.
