Un cantaor comprometidopolíticamente con la época que le toco vivir y de la mano de su ideólogo y mentor Francisco Moreno Galván, revolucionó el flamenco llevándolo a espacios culturales y a escenarios que nunca antes había alcanzado. Hoy esos cantes son recuperados y reinterpretados por voces jóvenes de mujeres, las nuevas revolucionarias del flamenco actual.
